Junior and Sue's farm Jr. and Sue live in Ransomville New York, which is only a few minutes from Niagra Falls. Jr. runs a dry dock marina that is located on the home farm. The farm consists of only 20 acres, but has many buildings. There are two horse barns, two large storage barns, two workshops, and the show room. The horses have two small paddocks and one large pasture to run in when they don't have shoes on. When show season comes around the girls get their daily excersize on a hot walker. Jr. also hooks at least one team a day and drives them on the track with a stone boat. It gets them in shape and helps keep them fit for show season. Sue spends a lot of time preparing for the shows by cleaning the harness, wagon and carts. And of course, it is always the womans job to pack the trailer. Our wedding at Rocking Horse Resort in Highland New York. |

Mitchell and Heather's farm Mitch and I live in Cazenovia, New York, about 45 minutes east of Syracuse. Our farm is almost 60 acres, 25 acres of it is crops. The rest is pasture and the homestead. Right now it is just the house and garage plus a small barn that is used for hay storage with a small run-in area for the horses. We are in the process of putting up a 36'by 84' pole barn with 8 stalls and the rest will be hay and feed storage. We grow enough oats to supply both farms and hay to feed our farm plus enough to sell.
Mitch is a full time truck driver and I work at a small factory in the area. The rest of our time is spent working the farm. Mitch splits firewood on top of all the other stuff. He has also decided it would be fun to raise some beef cattle for meat.
